Saskatoon Wholesale Tire is proud to be doing our part to help out with the environment. We are members of the Saskatchewan Scrap Tire Corporation which was started to help clean up the landfills and other sites from potentially environmentally harmful materials to make new reusable products such as paving material for streets and highways, playground equipment and low impact playground surfaces.

All of the tires recycled by Saskatoon Wholesale Tire are picked up and processed locally by Shercom Industries. All used oils at Saskatoon wholesale tire are properly stored in a safe storage area until they are picked up and properly disposed of by Envirotech. Batteries are also properly recycled through a local supplier Saskatoon Battery Direct. All scrap metal from rims and parts are picked up by local metal recycler B.N. Steel & Metal where they recycled properly. Our tire products are even enviromently friendly, we use a biodegradable mounting paste to mount our tires. We also offer foam filling which makes a tire solid and puncture resistant were the material used is environmentally friendly.
Saskatoon Wholesale Tire just isn't involved with recycling our products but also the product them selves are environmentally friendly. From Michelin passenger/light truck tire which has developed an environmentally friendly process to build their tires to the amount of energy wasted by the use of their tire in a technology call Green X. Michelin is also involved with saving energy in the commercial truck market developing tires with low rolling resistance to the Xone super single drive tire and trailer tire which can save between 6-10% on fuel consumption saving both money for the truck owner and also reducing fuel emissions from the vehicle.
When it comes to the commercial truck segment we also offer customers to recap their used casing, which help saves the environment because the casings are being reused instead of being disposed of.
